Spain, Spanish-American War, 'I Remember Puerto Rico' Badge

Original era manufacture. Elaborate 50mm pin, consisting of crossed machetes, mounted to a laurel wreath and bow. The bow is inscribed 'Recuerdo de Puerto Rico'.  Very intricate, and nicely executed. The material appears to be silver, with gilding to the machetes, some of the laurel leaves and the knot of the bow. A portion of the wreath is missing as shown. Pinback reverse.
