US Post Civil War GAR Delegate Medal, Syracuse NY 1899

Original era manufacture. This is a very high quality bronze medal with chain suspension, and original red silk backing ribbon. The bronze planchet measures 45 mm in diameter, with excellent detail, including the profile of an Indian warrior on its obverse. Original red silk ribbon is very sound with no damage.
