French, 2nd Empire, Miniature Legion of Honor

Original era manufacture. A very nice quality miniature Legionof Honor, of silver, with two tiny gold discs, one on each side.The obverse disc displays the profile of Napoleon I, and the reverse disc the Imperial Eagle.Very minor enamel chipping, the red silk ribbon is intact but rather crumpled from handling. Measures 13 x 25 mm.
