WH (Heer)/Waffen-SS 'Gebirgsjäger' Canvas Gaiters

Wehrmacht Heer/Waffen-SS 'Gebirgsjäger' Canvas Gaiters (Gamaschen). As a result of concerns about leather shortages regulations in early 1940 prescribed the lace-up ankle boots for wear in the field and additional regulations in August 1940, introduced new canvas gaiters to be worn with the lace-up ankle boots. This is a pair of Styrian style gaitors as used by both Wehrmacht (Heer) and Waffen-SS Mountain Troops. The gaitors are made of a green canvas construction with webbing straps and re-inforcement. The gaiters both nicely RB.Nr. marked. Matching pair in complete condition. Nice and hard to find original pair in good used condition!
