French M1874 Gras Bayonet, L Deny Paris 1878

Original era manufacture. Mismatched blade to scabbard, the spine is marked L Deny Paris 1878. Darkish steel patina finish to the blade, with minor spots of staining and light corrosion pitting. Dark steel patina finish to the guard, original finish wooden grips displaying typical minor denting and a mellow brass patina to the pommel. Steel scabbard displaying a mix of blue and steel patina with a few very small surface dents.
