Japanese WWII Type 30 Bayonet, Nagoya Diamond, Riken Kozai

Original era manufacture. Another example of the smaller contractors of the Type 30 bayonet. Blue finished blade, straight guard, contoured wood grips with a rounded bird-head pommel.The blade displays a mix of faint blue and steel patina with scattered cleaned pitting along its length. The guard is not bent, displaying a matching dark corrosion finish to the guard and pommel. Original finish wooden grips displaying typical marring and staining from service use. Blue steel mixed with old surface corrosion scabbard, with a single impact mark on the obverse.
