Japanese WWII Army Officers Project Sword

Original period manufacture. Polished steel blade measuring 30 inches in length, clean, no issues. Decorative brass guard in the grade of a Company level officer, 2nd Lieutenant-Captain. No grip or pommel cap. Black finished steel scabbard which fits the blade properly, minimal denting, missing the throat screw.
