French WWI Victory Medal, Unofficial, Type I

Original era manufacture. On of the unofficial designs privately produced to meet the demand for Victory medals in the 1920's. Bronze planchet with the designers name C.Charles,on the lower right edge of the obverse. The rim of the medal displays the Chobillon emblem, and the word bronze.
