Czech WWII M32/34 Steel Helmet, Slovak Army Exterior

Sold
$125.00

Description

Original era manufacture. A sound example with its original liner, and likely a postwar applied exterior livery, depicting the helmet as one worn by soldiers of the Slovak Army who fought on the Eastern Front during WWII.Original brown factory paint, with a Slovak cross on each side with a wide blue paint band at the base of the helmet. The white leather liner is complete with all five original pads, one of which show some mouse damage to an attaching tab. No chinstrap.  Original Slovak Army helmets are quite rare, most found today have post 1945 paint finishes. While done to a high degree of expertise, I feel this to be not vintage. If I am wrong then it is a heck of a deal; still serves as a good representative piece.
