German WWII M1935 Double Decal Steel Helmet Project, SE66

Original era manufacture.  Here we have a standard M1935 steel helmet, SE66, lot number 4947. All of the exterior paint finish has been removed, but interestingly the shadows of the decal shields remain visible. Original helmet liner with all slot washers in place, dry sufaces with two broken fingers and a shoestring adjusting string. The interior of the helmet shows an Ordnance Gray paint finish.
