Japanese WWII Type 30 School Bayonet & Scabbard

Original era manufacture. Bright blade, hooked guard, birdhead pommel and pot belly contoured wooden grips.The blade is bright with a plated finish, and fullers on each side; minor nicks in the cutting edge.Rather crude hooked guard with a matching steel patina finish to the birdhead pommel. Original dark finish wood grips with a number 78 stamped into the right panel. Single dent on the top.Sheet steel scabbard with a covering of surface corrosion along its length.
