Japanese WWII, Order of the Sacred Treasure, 6th Class, Cased

Original period manufacture. 37mm silver cross with white enameled rays and an array of red jewels around the polished central mirror. Original ribbon in its proper fold, with attaching hook on the reverse. Tiny rivets on the reverse, perhaps pre WWII issue. Only flaw is the bottom red jewel is missing.   Original lacquered wood case, early style with a domed lid, with a very sound purple silk lining, with the interior folding pad and hing cover. Proper lapel rosette included. The hinge cover shows some damage in the form of bug nibbling, and the small metal securing post is missing.
