German WWII S84/98 Bayonet & Scabbard, Coppel Mfg., Warsaw Pact Reissue

Original era manufacture. A very clean example of a prewar production K98 bayonet by Coppel and dated 39 on the spine. Most of the original blue finish remains on the blade, guard and pommel; with intact waffenamt proofs visible. Stamped into the guard is a four digit serial number indicating post WWII Warsaw Pact issue.Dark plum bakelite grips in good repair. The steel scabbard is in matching condition finish; maker marked on the reverse Carl Eickhorn and dated 1939. The scabbard throat screw is present, and the bayonet displays a Warsaw Pact serial number on the frog stud. There are a few very shallow dents in the surface. A very clean example overall.
