French WWI Artillery Officers Kepi, Captain

Original era manufacture. Fine quality, tall officers kepi in the rank of Captain I believe. Red wool top with a dark blue wool cap band. Gold wire decoration around the body of the hat, up the four sides, around the top edge with a quatrefoil at top.Black patent leather visor with a bound edge, simple gold brocade chinstrap secured by two brass buttons, decorated with crossed cannons and a bursting bomb. Gold wire embroidered bursting bomb on the front of the hat. Pale orange silk lining, with a brown leather sweatband displaying a Paris makers name in gold lettering.  There is a small moth bite on the front edge of the cap, and a larger hole (7 mm) on the top. The body is misshapen from storage, however the visor and sweatband are securely sewn.
