French Pre WWI Era, Sheet Brass Kepi Ashtray

Original era manufacture. I am presuming this to represent a French style kepi, although by its shape, would pre-date WWI, more along the lines of the Franco-Prussian war era.All brass construction, and when turned over, is an oval shaped, hinged lid with a lock mechanism. Measures 92 x 70 x 30 mm. Pleasing brass patina finish.
