European, Napoleonic Era Foot Officers Sword

Original era manufacture. A curved steel blade measuring 27 inches in length, with traces of blue and etching remaining visible. The blade runs fairly straight, displaying an old dark patina finish, and scattered shallow nicks to the edge, with some surface corrosion at the point.Dark brass patina to the single branch guard and pommel cap. Carved wooden grips, which are cracked and a segment missing on the reverse side.
