French WWI, Horizon Blue Wool Kepi, Size 58

Original era manufacture. Rigid, horizon blue wool top with dark blue piping, unbound black leather visor with a simple adjustable leather chinstrap with two plain brass buttons. Black cotton lining with a black leather sweatband. Size marked 58 with faint issue markings in white ink.The wool portion of the hat displays scattered areas of mothing but still displays quite well, the kepi is not crushed or broken.
