Swiss M1914 Pioneer Bayonet Scabbard Sawback 77499

Original era manufacture. Massive sawback bayonet with a 19 inch steel blade and saw edge spine. Maker marked on the ricasso, Waffenfabrik Neuhausen.The blade displays a bright steel finish with no age staining or corrosion issues, bright and clean overall. Old chrome finish to the other metal components, with the serial number 77499 stamped into the guard. Original finish wood grips displaying minor marring from age and wear.   Leather bodied scabbard with sound stitching, some scuffing to the edge and body surfaces.
