Camouflage SF14 periscope half

A very appealing half part section of a a SF14 trench periscope - as would often have been created and used a as result of damage to a full unit - that would still have served for concealed spotting purposes. Recently just out of the estate of a British veteran.This particular one is a very early example, produced from brass, and was clearly originally factory finished in green paint. It has subsequently then received an attractive 3-colour hand-applied camouflage scheme for the remainder of its service life.Now purely only for decorative / display use as it stands due to missing parts, but a really superb piece of completely original camouflage painted kit!
