A super example of an early, pre-war 6x30Dienstglasfield binocular - maker marked for production byG. Rodenstock, München.Interestingly, this one also went back to the factory at some stage during its service life to have the cold weather lubrication 'o' marking applied.Very high quality construction from brass and with a textured black outer paint finish, which remains intact to a very high degree.Also still fitted with the original leather button retainer tab, as shown.The optics still remain functional, yet could benefit from a clean if deemed necessary for usage purposes. They are complete with the H/6400Strichplatterangefinding reticle retained within the right-hand side.A rarely encountered variant from this maker and one that remains in very honest original condition! One of the nicest early 6x30s we have ever had to offer!
