Italian WWII Era Carabinieri Bicorne Hat, Lucerna

Original era manufacture. Black wool felt bicorne hat which is bound with a black silk braided edging. on the front is a large silk rosette in the Italian colors of red-white-green, with a nickel decoration and bursting bomb emblem.Black cotton lining with a wide black leather sweatband in sound condition. The hat is not crushed, showing a small tear in the edge near the crown. Some of the edging shows fraying and wear, no chinstrap.Classic headgear as worn by the members of the Italian Carabinieri.
