US Indian Wars, SAW, Infantry Regimental Color Blue & White Cords

Original era manufacture. Carried as trimming on the 6 x 6 foot Infantry National and Regimental color, of blue/white braided silk. The 1889 regulations call for these to be '...not less than eleven and one-half (11 1/2 feet)'. This set measures 9.5 feet, so perhaps are National Guard. Their condition is very clean, no fraying or breaks in the cording or tassels. From an old Southern California Civil War collection.
