Original era manufacture. Attractive, enameled badge, measures 22 x 15 mm, pinback, marked reverse. See page 162,  Figure 14.32, In the Name of a Living God by Paul L. Murphy & Steven L. Ackley for a similar example. Theirs is described as having been issued by the Osaka branch of the Asahi Newspaper Company.
