Original period manufacture. Straight guard, bird head pommel, blue finished blade. Most of the original blue finish remains on the blade, few nicks in the cutting edge at the point.Mix of blue and steel patina finish to the guard and pommel, original finish wooden grips, with a 10mm dent in the left grip plate.Steel patina finish scabbard with scattered denting along its length, light spot in the finish near the throat wear a frog was attached.
