Description

Canadian Khaki Beret. The Canadian Khaki Beret was introduced in 1943. The beret was worn slightly tilted to the left, the insignia had to be worn directly above the left eye. The beret is nicely maker marked by the 'Grand'mere Knitting Company Limited' and dated 1944. The size of the cap is '7¼'. The beret is complete with an original RCOC (Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps) Cap Badge having a red canvas backing material indicating the 1st Canadian Infantry Division. The beret is showing some moth damages, see photos. Nice original beret in good, clearly used and worn, condition!
