German WWII Police Long Service Award for 25 Years-This is in the design of a Maltese cross and is suspended from the correct cornflower blue ribbon. This has a pin setup that functions perfectly. This pin is being held on with one stitch though, so it may need a quick repair. Please see photos. There is some slight discoloration to the blue ribbon. The gold gilt finish to the award is fully intact. The front features a Police eagle and oval wreath. The reverse has the inscription 'Für Treue Dienste in der Polizei' on a shield-shaped oval. The details to the eagle on front, and the motto on the reverse, show only slight wear and are very good. Excellent condition overall and priced to sell!
