Original era manufacture. A very fine quality sword made by Horster of Germany, 32 inch polished steel blade, with etched panels on each side, and the Horster logo on the ricasso. The blade is in fine condition, no corrosion issues and runs straight and true; Elizabeth II cypher on one side.Massive basket hilt of chromed brass, fishskin wrapped grip bound with triple strand wires which are a bit loose, maroon wool tassle at the pommel.Chromed steel scabbard in very clean condition, no corrosion issues or denting.
