Japanese WWII Army Officer Dress Hat, Captain Rank

Original period manufacture. A very fine quality hat in deep blue-black wool with gold wire trim and gilt brass emblem. Bound black leather chinstrap with a matching material adjustable chinstrap. Black watered silk lining with a thin black leather sweatband laced with red silk. Minor damage to the silk lacing, no moth issues.
