US WWI Trench Periscope

Original period manufacture. Olive green painted, wood construction Trench Periscope with an adjustable leg prop, and metal belt hook.The battlefield is viewed by the use of two opposing glassmirrors, one top, one bottom. A fairly crude design but it gets the job done.Very clean condition with most of the original paint finish remaining, clear mirror lenses, no damage.
