Original period manufacture. A British Royal Navy inspired design, with an overall length of 24 inches including the scabbard. Polished steel blade with an etched design on each side, early style Eickhorn trademark on the reverse ricasso. Mellow patina brass lion head pommel a t-shaped guard. Fish skin wrapped grip bound with triple strand wire. Black leather bodied scabbard with a matching mellow patina to the throat and chape. Typical age and wear.
