US Pre WWI, .38 Pistol Ammunition Pouch, RIA 1904

Original period manufacture. A very well made leather pouch with a wood block inside drilled to carry 12 .38 cartridges. Brass closure stud on its front with an embossed US on the flap closure.RIA 1904 marked and dated on its reverse. The leather is sound and pliable, very dark brown, almost black in color.
