Japanese WWII Steel Helmet Shell, Thai Re-Issue

Original period manufacture. WWII Japanese military helmet, re-issued by Thailand after WWII. Dark OD overpaint, with spring steel clips inside to hold the Thai liner in place. The Japanese internal liner loops were removed. On the front is an interesting brass helmet badge, perhaps Japanese, displaying a Naval anchor and crossed hammers. Likely installed by a previous owner.
