Turkish WWI Prisoner of War Wooden Cigarette Box, Cyprus 1917

Original era manufacture. Handmade wooden box which will hold unfiltered cigarettes. The top is inset with aluminum trim and a small silver coin. Stating on the on the lid, Turkish Prisoner of War, Cyprus 1917. This was once part of the famed Trench Art collection of Jane A. Kimball, author of the book, 'Trench Art, An Illustrated History'.
