US WWII WAC Officers Hobby Hat

Original period manufacture. Olive green wool hat nicknamed for the commander of the WAAC/WAC Program, Colonel Oveta Culp Hobby. Very clean condition with just a touch of mothing, one small nip under the visor and one on the top. Olive green imitation silk lining with a large circular sweatshield. Size marked in the sweatband 22. A very good looking hat with a shiny bright officers eagle on it's front.
