US WWII USMC Officer Dress Hat Emblem, HH, Dbl Sterling Marked

Original period manufacture. Full size dress hat emblem as worn by officers of the United States Marine Corps. Hand stippling decoration seen on the globe, HH marked reverse, sterling marked on the reverse of the eagle and anchor cross bar. Minimal wear to the gilding on the obverse, nice old silver patina finish, really a beautiful hat ornament.
