US Indian War Springfield M1873 Entrenching Tool and Sheath

Original era manufacture. Polished steel finished blade, with an turned oak grip which is U.S. marked above the ferrule. Leather covered, U.S. marked sheath with a leather belt loop. The blade finish is bright with scattered surface staining but no corrosion pitting, no cracks or chips in the grip. Steel bodied sheath covered in tan leather with a brass reinforced throat. U.S. stamp on the upper edge, steel standing loop on the reverse with a leather belt loop. No issues with the leather covering, an honest original example.
