German WWII M1934 Tornister & Y-Straps Set

Original period manufacture. Pony fur covered pack flap with a green canvas interior and body. This model is equipped with the short black leather straps with gray painted steel attaching hooks on the reverse. These are intended to allow for quick removal when necessary from the Y-Straps. All of the other black leather securing straps, loops and reinforcement panels are sound and pliable. Maker marked Franze Brehme, Walsrode 1942 on the reverse. Included are a pair of original German WWII Y-Straps, these are RBN numbered on the underside of one of the shoulder straps. These are also complete with their proper metal fittings and attaching straps. The short rear strap has an elaborate repair done to it by a previous owner, this can likely be improved upon making the set a proper display piece.
