Japanese WWII, 7th Class Order of the Golden Kite, Cased

Original era manufacture. A very fine example of this silver medal with a gilded falcon. Complete with its issue case, original ribbon, and lapel button. Normal age and wear, no issues. Wear to the purple silk interior covering. The Order of the Golden Kite was a purely military decoration awarded for bravery and the only Japanese order outlawed by the Allies at the end of WWII. A very nice example with lots of gilding remaining on the falcon.
