German WWI Vaulted Iron Cross 1st Class, 800 Silver

Original era issue. An interesting vaulted example of a WWI EK1, which was converted from a pinback into a screwback configuration. Marked 800 silver content on the reverse. The original pin was removed and replaced by a screwpost. Most of the original finish remains on the magnetic core. Shows honest age and wear.
