US M1892 3040 Krag Bayonet, 1901 Small Date

Original era manufacture. Bright finished blade, pommel and guard with a US and small format 1901 date on the ricasso. The blade was finished in the bright showing lightly scattered spotting and staining and minimal darkening to the surface. One small nick in the cutting edge towards the point. Original finish wooden grips with a few dings and dents from service use. Sound blue steel finished scabbard, light wear and one very small dent. Basically a clean bayonet overall.
