French WWI Trench Art Letter Opener St Mihiel

Original period manufacture. All brass construction with a nicely decorated spear point shaped blade displaying the name St. Mihiel. Prussian enlisted button soldered to the casing of a cartridge, miniature buckle discs as the guard. A well made and unusual letter opener.
