German Imperial Era, Framed Guard Mount Photo

Original era photography. A very nice quality image of eleven Prussian enlisted soldiers ready for Guard Mount. Each wears his brass trimmed pickelhaube, and is armed with the 88 Commission Rifle.Black lacquer finishedwooden framewith a gilt inner edge, measuring 14 x 11.5 inches. The6.5 x 5 inch image is mounted to a nicely decorated cardboard mount, original paper backing on the reverse, with a triangular suspension loop. Minor nicks in the edge of the frame.
