M35 army (Heer) reissued single decal steel helmet 'ex white wash' ET64

Beautiful M35 steel helmet, reissued example ca. 1941. This helmet, was factory reissued in the beginning of the war, receiving a new thick rough field green layer of paint and a new decal. The helmet has a typical reissue army decal by Methner and Burger (Grey lined eagle), and is still present for over 99%.. The helmet is complete with its original installed liner. The leather itself is supple and strong and shows minimal traces of use. The draw string and chin-strap are both present. The strap is marked RBNr. 0/0594/0008. The extiord was once covered in white wash 'chlack paint' and was simply to remove with water after the winter, a few traces are still visible. Maker marked shell by ET, size 64, lot number not visible. Beautiful army steel helmet!
