Japanese Anti Tank Type 94 37mm Brass Casing, Found in Hawaii

Original era manufacture. A rather battered example of anall brass construction 37 mm shell casing. Japanese markings on the base, with a 1940 date.Inside the casing is a note card giving details of its acquisition back in the 1970's in Hawaii. Perhaps a GI souvenir, or perhaps a testing sight for captured Japanese weapons.
