Folk Art Hand Painted Bavarian Wooden Box 1944

Folk Art Hand Painted Bavarian Wooden Box, probably intended to hold personal belongings. The wooden box is approximately sized 22,5 x 17,5 x 8 cms. The wooden box is showing hand painted flower motives, painted on top are the dates 20 August 1930 - 20 August 1944. The key for the lock is missing. Decorative wartime wooden box, this would be a great period box to display for example a soldier's document & medal grouping in!
