Etched WH (Heer) K98 Dress Bayonet

Etched WH (Heer) K98 Dress Bayonet (Extraseitengewehr). This is a private purchase version of the S84/98 bayonet for dress wear. The bayonet was, accompanied by a bayonet frog, to be worn on the reverse left side of the load carrying waist belt. The bayonet is nicely maker marked by the company 'Eickhorn' from Solingen. The bayonet is nicely etched with 'Zur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit', the etch is showing two army (Heer) style eagles. The blade is in very good condition. The bayonet and scabberd are showing normal traces of usage and slight surface rust, see photos. Rare original etched bayonet in good used condition!
