Cased Fifty Years Faithful Service Medal (Treudienst-Ehrenzeichen Sonderstufe für 50 Jahre). On 30 January 1938, Hitler instituted the Faithful Service Decoration, in three classes. This was in recognition of long serving civil servants, and public works personnel. The rare 50 years faithful service medal is complete with its original confectioned blue ribbon, the medal is in very good condition, showing stunning details having a nice darkened age-patina. The medal comes in its original rare red case of issue. The box is showing some normal useage at the corners what is seen often on these boxes. The box is nicely maker marked by the company of 'Deschler & Sohn' from München. Scarce original set in very good condition!
