WH (Heer) Tropical Trousers

WH (Heer) Tropical Trousers (Tropenhose). With the impending German entrance into the North African campaign, tropical uniforms and equipment were quickly developed and issued in time for 'Deutsches Afrika Korps'. This is a second pattern, light weight, olive/khaki green, cotton construction pair of straight-leg trousers. The horizontal waistband has a tunnel loop which houses a built-in olive coloured cotton belt. The tropical pants are not visible maker marked or dated. The trousers are showing some minimal traces of storage. Nice original tropical trousers in very good, mint and unissued, condition!
