Paris Exposition Universelle 1889 Eiffel Tower Bastille Charm

Vintage Eiffel Tower Bastille 1789 1889 charm / fob.Very nice piece of history from the debut of one of the worlds most iconic structures. This is from the Exposition Universelle in 1889 (basically a world's fair held in Paris). The Eiffel Tower was created for this exposition - it was the tallest tower in the world at the time. The event was held on the 100th anniversary of the Storming of the Bastille, which is depicted on the backside of the charm.One side of the piece has the Tour Eiffel 300 Meters and the other side has 1789 La Bastille 1889. AS-IS condition with a lot of wear. The condition is rather rough but it is 135 years old and it is a pretty neat piece of history. Most of the commemorative items produced then were rather boring, but this could actually be put on a necklace or keychain and worn.
