Japanese WWII Army Issue Enlisted Field Shoes, Hobnails and Heel Irons and Puttees

Original era manufacture. A very well worn pair of issue hobnail ankle boots with their original puttees. As with the helmet listed today, these boots and puttees came from the same lot purchase.The boots are basically sound, with most of the hobnails remaining on the soles, the leather is dry but not rotten; about the only damage is from poor postwar storage.On the back of each bootthe stitching has come loose on one side from being jammed into a foot locker for decades. Remnants of the original laces remainas shown. The puttees are dirty and ragged from use, matching perfectly the overall condition of the boots.
